Como parte de su compromiso social, Drummond Ltd. entregó tres obras de infraestructura en las veredas Villa Matilde y Canaima, en el municipio de Becerril (Cesar), desarrolladas en concertación con la administración local. Estos proyectos reflejan el compromiso de la compañía con la construcción de espacios dignos, seguros y funcionales que aporten al progreso y bienestar de las comunidades ubicadas en su área de influencia.

At Drummond, we remain committed to promoting projects that generate well-being and real development in the territory,” commented Yilda Pineda García, senior supervisor of community relations and government at Drummond Ltd.
In the Villa Matilde village, the expansion of its educational institution was carried out, which included the construction of four new classrooms, a sanitary battery, the improvement of the existing infrastructure and the complete provision of furniture.
Two projects were carried out in the village of Canaima: the construction and delivery of two new classrooms, which will expand educational coverage and improve the quality of the spaces for student education; and the construction of a completely new community hall, designed to serve as a suitable space for community organization, meetings, gatherings and social activities.
Ariel Martinez Ospino, president of the Canaima village, expressed his gratitude for the investments received in his territory: “Thanks to that neighbor we have, today this dream that we had as a community is a reality.”
These projects were agreed with the Mayor’s Office of Becerril, thanks to a joint effort that has strengthened the educational and community infrastructure of the municipality.
“Happy to receive these three projects of great impact for us, and very happy with Drummond for this investment. We will continue to work hand in hand with Drummond and the municipal government of Becerril for a better future,” said Fabián Martínez García, Mayor of Becerril, Cesar.
With these deliveries, Drummond Ltd. reaffirms its commitment to work together with the authorities and communities to promote projects that strengthen the social, educational and community development of the territory.
