As part of its commitment to sustainable development and generating opportunities for communities in its area of influence, Drummond Ltd. provided capital to 36 businesses in the municipalities of Agustín Codazzi, Becerril, La Jagua de Ibirico, Chiriguaná, El Paso, Bosconia, and El Copey. The leaders of these businesses successfully completed their business strengthening process in the seventh cohort of the Drummond Ltd. (Cesar) Route D project – a business incubator.
The provision of tools, equipment, and supplies strengthens businesses dedicated to activities such as food production and processing, apparel creation, services, beauty, the use of recyclable materials, and creative industries, promoting entrepreneurship and a more diversified and sustainable economy.
Through this project, Drummond Ltd. is driving regional development by providing specialized support, business training, mentorship, and strategic business connections that strengthen entrepreneurs’ capabilities and promote the
sustainability of their businesses.

initiatives that now have greater resources to
grow, generate income, and contribute to the
productive diversification of our area of influence.
Route D continues to solidify its commitment to
sustainable development and to strengthening the
talent and entrepreneurial capacity of our region,”

Responsibility Coordinator at Drummond Ltd.
It is worth noting that since 2020, Route D has
supported more than 2,500 businesses, providing
them with training, specialized advice, and tools to
strengthen their business models and contribute
to the economic development of the department
of Cesar.
“I am incredibly grateful to Drummond for this
equipment, which will allow us to triple our cold storage capacity,” said Johana Pérez Mejía, owner of the Migalia business in La Jagua de Ibirico.
