As part of its commitment to strengthening education in its area of influence, Drummond Ltd., in partnership with the AC Foundation, completed another phase of the Pre Saber 11° project, an initiative that academically prepared 161 eleventh-grade students from five educational institutions in the municipality of Agustín Codazzi to take the Saber 11
exams.
“At Drummond Ltd., we have been committed to social investment for over 30 years, and education has been one of our main priorities. This project is part of our strategy to
strengthen the quality of education and provide young people with more tools to build their life plans,” stated Amalí Blanco Bohórquez, Corporate Social Responsibility Project Coordinator at Drummond Ltd.

As the culmination of the process, the students received a school supply kit with the necessary materials to take the test, which complement the academic guidance provided throughout the project and aims to boost their confidence at this important moment in their education.
The project involved 11th-grade students from the Luis Giraldo, Simón Bolívar, Divino
Niño, Antonio Galo Lafaurie Celedón, and San Jacinto schools in Agustín Codazzi. During the process, they received academic sessions, ICFES-style practice tests, results analysis, and pedagogical support, with the goal of strengthening the skills assessed in the Saber 11° Tests and expanding their opportunities for access to higher education.
Lunadys Bula López, a student from the San Jacinto Educational Center, expressed her gratitude for the academic support received through this initiative: “I want to thank the AC Foundation and Drummond for this preparation they gave us so we could achieve better results on the ICFES tests.”
The process made it possible to identify learning gaps in key areas, which facilitated the implementation of focused pedagogical strategies and the monitoring of student
progress through simulations.
“We are very grateful for this course that has been offered to our students. We are confident that this opportunity and the results they obtain on the Saber 11° Tests will open new doors for them and contribute to building a better future,” commented Nare Hernández Payares, principal of the Antonio Galo Lafaurie Celedón School.
This initiative is part of Drummond Ltd.’s Social Investment Plan, which aligns with one of its strategic investment lines: strengthening educational quality and expanding
development opportunities for communities through projects that promote skills development and access to quality education.
