As part of its commitment to improving the quality of life in communities within its area of influence, Drummond Ltd. has begun delivering the first homes in the High-Impact Housing Project in the village of La Loma, municipality of El Paso, Cesar.

This new milestone marks the transition from construction to the delivery of housing
solutions that aim to transform the living conditions of the beneficiary families. On this occasion, three families received their new homes, out of a total of 60 planned for the first phase of the project.

The initiative, whose construction phase began in March 2026 with the symbolic laying of the first stone, will benefit families previously prioritized through a technical and social process. Of the total number of homes planned, 30 are located in La Loma, and the other 30 are distributed among the communities of Potrerillo, Cuatro Vientos, El Carmen, and El Vallito, in the municipality of El Paso.

For Eida Villalobos Rivera, a beneficiary of the project, receiving the keys means the following: “My house is a mansion. I can’t ever repay Drummond for this wonderful gift, because this was my son’s dream—to build me a house”.

From construction to home

Each home has a constructed area of 71.40 square
meters, distributed among three bedrooms, a living
room, a dining room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a front yard, offering functional and suitable spaces to contribute to the well-being and quality of life of its residents.

“I am grateful to God for this great blessing, to
Drummond, and to all the entities that contributed to this great project that is changing our lives today. Thank you. I have no words to express how happy I am for this great benefit,”
said Yajaira Gómez Durán, a beneficiary of the project.

This program is being developed in partnership with the El Paso Mayor’s Office and strategic allies, in compliance with agreements with the National Mining Agency (ANM), and is part of the high-impact social initiatives that Drummond is carrying out in its area
of influence.

“We deliver hope, we deliver joy, and we fulfill our purpose of generating a positive impact. Today, in the municipality of El Paso, we begin the delivery phase of the 60 homes in the High Impact Project,” said Juan Pablo Arteaga, Vice President of Sustainability at Drummond Ltd.

Beyond the infrastructure, the delivery of each home represents a significant change for the beneficiary families, who now have suitable spaces to build new lives and strengthen their well-being.

With initiatives like this, Drummond Ltd. continues to contribute to the social development of the region, promoting actions that translate into better conditions for families and new opportunities to build their future.
