At the 12th BASC World Congress, “Securing Trade, Strengthening Trust,” held in Miami, USA, Drummond Ltd. received special recognition for its leadership, performance, and commitment to global supply chain security.

The award was presented before an international audience in the “Outstanding Founding Companies” category, recognizing the company’s track record of upholding BASC’s highest standards and its role in shaping the Chapter’s identity.

The event, held on September 1 and 2, commemorated the 30th anniversary of the BASC initiative, during which the World BASC Organization (WBO) and its member chapters honored certified companies that have distinguished themselves through their institutional impact and their role as benchmarks of competitiveness and leadership in the region.

“Receiving this honor motivates us to continue being a trusted benchmark for our customers, partners, and communities; to continue strengthening security throughout the global supply chain, together with a team that works every day to achieve this. We are certainly grateful to the Business Alliance for Secure Commerce (BASC) for also joining us in building a security culture that benefits the company, and we congratulate them on their 30th anniversary,” said Carlos Beltrán Sánchez, Physical Security Director of Drummond Ltd.

It is worth noting that the Business Alliance for Secure Commerce (BASC) is an international business initiative that promotes secure trade through cooperation between the private sector, governments, and international organizations.

With this recognition, Drummond Ltd. reaffirms its long-standing commitment to security, transparency, and integrity at every stage of the supply chain, values that position it as a leader in the industry and as a symbol of the BASC Chapter in the region.
