With the aim of strengthening education and bridging the digital divide in Cesar, Drummond Ltd., in partnership with Aptiva Labs, developed the “Educación en TIC Con Drummond” (ICT Education with Drummond) project. This initiative engages 100 high school seniors and teachers from the municipalities of La Jagua de Ibirico, Chiriguaná, and
El Paso.
As part of this process, students and teachers presented their final projects and received
certificates of participation, demonstrating the knowledge and tools they had acquired
regarding generative artificial intelligence and digital business.
The training sought to
strengthen their competencies to face the challenges of an increasingly digital society and
to provide them with tools applicable to their learning processes, higher education, and
future career and entrepreneurial endeavors.

knowledge to seize these opportunities and

A key component of the project was the
practical application of the knowledge gained.
During the training process, participants
developed final projects in which they applied tools and concepts related to artificial
intelligence and digital business.
“I loved this great experience provided by Drummond. I found the whole process of designing web pages truly impressive,” commented Abraham Trocha Durán, a student at the Benito Ramos Trespalacios Educational Institution and a project participant.
Fabián Mestre Socarrás, Manager of Aptiva Labs—the project’s operational partner—
highlighted the value of creating training opportunities that address the challenges of
digital transformation: “It gives us great satisfaction to support this process and
contribute to strengthening the digital skills of students and teachers who are navigating
the challenges of this new digital world.”
