As part of its commitment to improving the quality of education in its area of influence, in coordination with the Mayor’s Office of El Paso, Cesar, Drummond Ltd. delivered the construction of a kiosk at the Octavio Mendoza Durán Educational Institution, Nueva Guayacán School, as well as new furniture for the Nacionalizada Educational Institution, Ángel Martín Flórez Campo School.
The construction of the kiosk will provide more than 40 students and teachers with an ideal space for outdoor activities, promoting an educational environment that is more interactive and healthier.
“Thank you for building this kiosk for us. We didn’t have anywhere to have fun, to get out
of the sun. We didn’t have a place to play and not stay in the classroom. Thanks to
Drummond, now we have that,” said Luisa Lucas Campo, a fifth grade student at the
Nueva Guayacán school.
Additionally, the company provided furniture, fans and air conditioning units for the Ángel Martín Flórez Campo School at the Nacionalizada Educational Institution to improve learning conditions, providing students with a more comfortable environment that is conducive to learning. It should be noted that this donation completes the company’s assistance to this institution for a total investment of more than 1.058 billion pesos.
“We thank Drummond for this contribution, which is very important for our children’s education, for their comfort. May God bless them and may they keep doing more work [like this],” said Diana Trespalacio Molina, mother of a student at the school.
These actions confirm the company’s main objective of providing more dynamic learning environments and closing educational gaps.
