Reaffirming its commitment to the economic diversification of the territory, Drummond Ltd. held the Business Roundtable and the Capitalization Committee of its RUTA D Cesar program, operated by Socodevi, with the aim of strengthening the business fabric and generating real opportunities for connection between entrepreneurs and the productive sector in the company’s area of influence.
The event featured the participation of entrepreneurs from seven municipalities in the department, allied businesspeople, and institutional representatives, allowing for the visibility of local initiatives that are currently committed to the economic transformation of Cesar. This demonstrated that entrepreneurship is a fundamental engine for territorial development. During the last year, the Ruta D Cesar program has supported more than 350 businesses, strengthening their business models and preparing them for sustainable commercial scenarios.

During the event, William Espinosa Espinosa, Drummond’s corporate social responsibility supervisor, highlighted the impact of the process: “Today we were able to evaluate 44 business plans and learn about the life stories behind each project. We have been working with this business incubator for more than five years, whose objective is to support and strengthen entrepreneurs through advice, training, education and investment plans that in some cases we co-finance.”
The Business Roundtable included the participation of public and private entities, who listened to and evaluated the projects of 30 entrepreneurs in the scaling phase (level 3).

These initiatives reflect the talent and entrepreneurial capacity of the municipalities in the area of influence, and reaffirm the company’s commitment to the productive growth of the region.
For Luz Amparo González Sandoval, regional manager of Socodevi in Cesar, these types of spaces allow the department to be projected as an agricultural, commercial and service center: “These activities highlight the work of entrepreneurs and the commitments they make to productive reconversion. The message is to persevere; this process requires commitment, but it generates positive impacts on the quality of life and the regional economy.”
With these actions, Drummond Ltd. reaffirms its commitment to the sustainable development of the territory, the strengthening of local entrepreneurship and the economic diversification of Cesar, as key pillars for generating opportunities and longterm growth for its communities of influence.
