Drummond donates US$1.5 million to support the
communities affected by the earthquake

Bogotá, August 14 th of 2026

In response to the emergency caused by the earthquake that affected the departments of Chocó, Caldas, Quindío, Risaralda, and Valle del Cauca, Drummond Company, through its Colombian subsidiaries Drummond Ltd. and Drummond Energy, will donate $1.5 million to contribute to both humanitarian aid and the recovery and reconstruction efforts of the affected communities.

The donation will be channeled through the national campaign “Colombia, Un Solo Corazón,” led by the Nation’s First Lady.

“Our solidarity is with the families who lost loved ones and with all the affected communities, who will have a long road to recovery ahead,” said José Miguel Linares, president of Drummond Ltd.

Simultaneously, and in addition to the corporate contribution, Drummond employees
and contractors are conducting an internal voluntary fundraising campaign to raise funds for this cause. The donations collected will also be channeled through “Colombia, Un Solo Corazón” to broaden support to the affected communities.

Drummond acknowledges and appreciates the work of relief agencies, authorities, health personnel, volunteers, and all those who continue to support the affected communities.
