{"id":9133,"date":"2018-01-03T17:57:00","date_gmt":"2018-01-03T22:57:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/drummondltd.com\/uncategorized\/2018\/01\/03\/drummond-delivers-sports-equipment-to-winners-of-the-2017-summer-tournament\/"},"modified":"2022-08-12T15:53:22","modified_gmt":"2022-08-12T20:53:22","slug":"drummond-delivers-sports-equipment-to-winners-of-the-2017-summer-tournament","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/drummondltd.com\/en\/drummond-delivers-sports-equipment-to-winners-of-the-2017-summer-tournament\/","title":{"rendered":"Drummond Delivers Sports Equipment to Winners of the \u201c2017 Summer Tournament\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La Loma, January 3, 2018<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drummond Ltd. participated in the 4th annual sports event, the \u201c2017 Summer Tournament\u201d, in La Loma, Cesar, in order to develop and implement mechanisms that facilitate the continuous improvement of the relationships with the communities in the area of influence.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rafael Garcia, Coordinator for the Community Relations office at Drummond Ltd, delivered 44 uniforms, 10 balls, and 2 trophies to the champions and runners-up of this tournament.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The goal of performing this sports event every year, is to unite people of all ages from the best soccer teams in Chiriguana, El Paso, La Loma, and La Jagua de Ibirico to compete for the soccer championship title in the region.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI have been playing soccer since I was 8 years old. It is my first time participating in the tournament, and I do it because I would like to be a soccer player in the future. I am thankful to Drummond for being involved in this tournament,\u201d expressed Simeon Bastidas, the highest scoring athlete of the tournament.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/drummondltd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Drummond-tournament_2-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"316\" height=\"211\"\/><figcaption>*Champions and runners-up with the trophies<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is very important for Drummond to continue supporting sports activities that unite players and fans, with the goal of generating spaces for healthy recreation and coexistence, creating a sense of belonging in their roots. For this reason, Mario Contreras, vice-president for the tournament\u2019s Board of Directors stated: \u201cDrummond Ltd. has supported us a lot.
