{"id":9007,"date":"2017-03-31T08:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-03-31T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/drummondltd.com\/uncategorized\/2017\/03\/31\/education-and-health-our-priority\/"},"modified":"2022-08-12T15:53:58","modified_gmt":"2022-08-12T20:53:58","slug":"education-and-health-our-priority","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/drummondltd.com\/en\/education-and-health-our-priority\/","title":{"rendered":"Education and Health, Our Priority"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In cooperation with the Mayor of El Paso, Drummond Ltd. officially handed over three important projects to the communities in La Loma, Porterillo, and Cuatro Vientos in the municipality of El Paso, Cesar.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201cMis Primeros D\u00edas y Mis Primeros Pasos\u201d Early Childhood Development Center<\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drummond Ltd. has completed the works on the \u201cMis Primeros D\u00edas y Mis Primeros Pasos\u201d Childhood Development Center, located in La Loma, to improve the electric installations, and the ceilings in common areas and classrooms. This work will benefit more than 450 children by making conditions optimum for their well-being and development. The Childhood Development Center is a very important program regarding early attention to children in Cesar. It is currently run by Comfacesar and Bienestar Familiar in the framework of the \u201cFrom Zero to Forever\u201d program.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La The inauguration was celebrated with talent shows, such as couplets sung by teachers, and expressions of gratitude to the company for its contribution. Yoseth Maestre, the mother of a child attending the Center, said: \u201cThese projects really mean a lot. It helps improve the attention to our children, and demonstrates Drummond\u2019s commitment to education and early childhood.\u201d<br\/><strong>Remodeling and Equipping Healthcare Stations in Cuatro Vientos and Potrerillo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/drummondltd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Inaguracion-de-obras-2-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Inauguration 2\" class=\"wp-image-5252\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the objective of continued improvement in people\u2019s quality of life, Drummond remodeled infrastructure and donated equipment for the healthcare stations in Cuatro Vientos and Potrerillo. These healthcare stations are now able to provide services in dentistry, general medicine, health promotion, and disease prevention. These healthcare stations are now able to provide services in dentistry, general medicine, health promotion, and disease prevention.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also facilitated \u201can agreement with the Hernando Quintero Hospital in El Paso to ensure that the services provided will be continuous, permanent, and efficient,\u201d stated Alfredo Araujo, Manager of the company\u2019s Community Relations Department.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThese works will benefit around 200 families who will now have a doctor available once a week and a nurse at all times.
