{"id":8873,"date":"2017-11-28T19:58:00","date_gmt":"2017-11-29T00:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/drummondltd.com\/uncategorized\/2017\/11\/28\/colombia-shines-in-the-xviii-bolivarian-games\/"},"modified":"2022-08-12T15:52:02","modified_gmt":"2022-08-12T20:52:02","slug":"colombia-shines-in-the-xviii-bolivarian-games","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/drummondltd.com\/en\/colombia-shines-in-the-xviii-bolivarian-games\/","title":{"rendered":"Colombia shines in the XVIII Bolivarian Games"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ci\u00e9naga, November 28, 2017<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/drummondltd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/XVIII-Juegos-Bolivarianos-2017_DLTD-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"XVIII Bolivarian Games 2017_DLTD\" class=\"wp-image-5851\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<p>Throughout the competition at the XVIII Bolivarian Games, the Colombian athletes represented the country well, showing that Colombia has great potential in the different events in which it won 213 gold, 136 silver and 111 bronze medals, taking first place in the standings against the other competing countries.<\/p>\n\n<p>Starting on Saturday, November 11, opening day, through the closure on November 25th, Santa Marta welcomed more than 4,000 athletes from the 11 countries that competed in the 45 sporting events held on several stages in the capital of Magdalena, in addition to other cities such as Cali, Bogot\u00e1 and the municipality of Ci\u00e9naga, which served as part of the competition as sub-venues.<\/p>\n\n<p>Drummond Ltd. participated as the official sponsor of the Games.
