In response to the emergency caused by the earthquake that affected the departments of Choc\u00f3, Caldas, Quind\u00edo, Risaralda, and Valle del Cauca, Drummond Company, through its Colombian subsidiaries Drummond Ltd. and Drummond Energy, will donate $1.5 million to contribute to both humanitarian aid and the recovery and reconstruction efforts of the affected communities.<\/p>\n\n

The donation will be channeled through the national campaign \u201cColombia, Un Solo Coraz\u00f3n,\u201d<\/em> led by the Nation\u2019s First Lady.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cOur solidarity is with the families who lost loved ones and with all the affected communities, who will have a long road to recovery ahead,\u201d <\/em>said Jos\u00e9 Miguel Linares, president of Drummond Ltd.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Simultaneously, and in addition to the corporate contribution, Drummond employeesand contractors are conducting an internal voluntary fundraising campaign to raise funds for this cause.
