Drummond Ltd. and the El Paso Mayor\u2019s Office inaugurated the Senior Citizens\u2019 Community Center in Cuatro Vientos<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Thanks to the joint efforts of Drummond Ltd. and the El Paso Mayor\u2019s Office, the village of Cuatro Vientos now has a new Senior Citizens\u2019 Center, a facility that promotes wellbeing, social inclusion, and comprehensive care for nearly 100 older adults in this community.<\/p>\n\n

The project was carried out through a co-financing model between the El Paso Mayor\u2019s Office and Drummond Ltd. and includes a facility of approximately 416 square meters, equipped with a kitchen, dining room, pantry, restroom facilities, a nursing area, an administrative office, air conditioning systems, furniture, and other necessary amenities to provide comprehensive care for older adults.<\/p>\n\n

For Yilda Pineda Garc\u00eda, senior supervisor of community and government relations at Drummond Ltd., this project exemplifies the value of partnerships that foster sustainable development in local communities: \u201cAt Drummond, we believe that community development is built through partnerships that generate well-being and opportunities. The opening of this Senior Center reflects our commitment to the older adults of Cuatro Vientos, providing them with a dignified, safe, and well-equipped space to promote their well-being, social integration, and quality of life.\u201d <\/p>\n\n

Jes\u00fas Ortiz Cervantes, mayor of El Paso, highlighted the importance of coordinated efforts: \u201cAs I have always said, Drummond is our best neighbor, our best ally, with whom\u2014 thank God\u2014we have created a strong synergy and a great team. We have demonstrated that by joining forces between the public and private sectors, we can make these major investments.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

The beneficiaries also emphasized the importance of having a place designed for their well-being, where they can participate in recreational, social, and integration activities under dignified and safe conditions.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cI think this project by Drummond, in partnership with the mayor\u2019s office, is wonderful. Now it\u2019s up to us, the seniors, to take care of it, because this belongs to us\u2014it\u2019s a gift they don\u2019t give to just anyone,\u201d said William Mej\u00eda Guti\u00e9rrez, a senior from the village of Cuatro Vientos, Cesar.<\/p>\n\n

With this project, Drummond Ltd. and the El Paso Mayor\u2019s Office reaffirm their commitment to the municipality\u2019s social development, strengthening community infrastructure and creating spaces that help improve the quality of life for older adults and their families.<\/p>\n\n
