As part of its commitment to improving the quality of education in its area of influence, in coordination with the Mayor\u2019s Office of El Paso, Cesar, Drummond Ltd. delivered the construction of a kiosk at the Octavio Mendoza Dur\u00e1n Educational Institution, Nueva Guayac\u00e1n School, as well as new furniture for the Nacionalizada Educational Institution, \u00c1ngel Mart\u00edn Fl\u00f3rez Campo School.<\/p>\n\n

The construction of the kiosk will provide more than 40 students and teachers with an ideal space for outdoor activities, promoting an educational environment that is more interactive and healthier.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cThank you for building this kiosk for us. We didn\u2019t have anywhere to have fun, to get outof the sun. We didn\u2019t have a place to play and not stay in the classroom. Thanks toDrummond, now we have that,\u201d said Luisa Lucas Campo, a fifth grade student at theNueva Guayac\u00e1n school.<\/p>\n\n

Additionally, the company provided furniture, fans and air conditioning units for the \u00c1ngel Mart\u00edn Fl\u00f3rez Campo School at the Nacionalizada Educational Institution to improve learning conditions, providing students with a more comfortable environment that is conducive to learning. It should be noted that this donation completes the company\u2019s assistance to this institution for a total investment of more than 1.058 billion pesos. <\/p>\n\n

\u201cWe thank Drummond for this contribution, which is very important for our children\u2019s education, for their comfort. May God bless them and may they keep doing more work [like this],\u201d said Diana Trespalacio Molina, mother of a student at the school.<\/p>\n\n

These actions confirm the company\u2019s main objective of providing more dynamic learning environments and closing educational gaps.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cAt Drummond, we continue to strengthen the industry\u2019s institutional and community capacity to contribute and help improve these learning environments, because we know that educational quality outcomes are directly related to the quality of the infrastructure,\u201d said Yilda Tatiana Pineda, Senior Community and Government Relations Supervisor at Drummond Ltd.<\/p>\n\n

Drummond Ltd. will continue investing in initiatives that promote collective well-being and strengthen education as a fundamental pillar for progress in the communities, working closely with the schools and communities to promote projects that have a positive impact.<\/p>\n\n
