Within the framework of its commitment to contribute to the development of children and young adults in its zone of influence in Cesar, Drummond Ltd socialized educational infrastructure projects in the municipalities of El Paso and Bosconia.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cDrummond continues to contribute by strengthening its area of influence\u2019s community institutional capacity, especially at the educational level of these municipalities, coordinating the development of projects that seek to advance the quality of the infrastructure of these institutions,\u201d mentioned Javier Galeano Guzm\u00e1n, community relations coordinator for Drummond Ltd.<\/p>\n\n

*The children, those who benefit the most with Drummond Ltd.\u2019s contributions.<\/p>\n\n

Together with the El Paso Mayor\u2019s Office, he announced to the community a project that includes the construction of a multiple-use classroom and general adaptations to the existing infrastructure of the Nationalized Educational Institution of El Paso, Sabanitas headquarters.<\/p>\n\n

Likewise, the mining company, in coordination with the Bosconia Mayor’s Office, socialized the second stage of the relocation project of the 18 de Febrero Kindergarten of the Carlos Restrepo Ara\u00fajo Educational Institution, which includes the construction of a kitchen-dining room and a multiple-use classroom, in benefit of more than 160 students.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cToday we welcome with joy the continuity of this work that will soon be a reality for our students. We are grateful to Drummond for making the execution of this project possible in our educational establishment, which will generate safe and better school environments,\u201d thanked In\u00e9s Rodr\u00edguez teacher, at the Carlos Restrepo Ara\u00fajo Educational Institution.<\/p>\n\n

This project, which in its initial phase included the construction of three classrooms and a sanitary battery, is being executed and all costs are being paid by Drummond, with an investment of more than 631 million pesos.<\/p>\n\n

H\u00e9ctor Medina, father of one of the students, expressed his gratitude to the company: \u201cThese projects make me very happy because with this progress that Drummond is making towards our municipalities, they ensure that children have a decent space for their classes and in this way, new generations can take advantage of it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

The project in El Paso will be executed in three months, and the one in Bosconia, is already in its final stage.<\/p>\n\n
