On March 30th, in coordination with the municipal administration led by Yarcely Rangel, Mayor of La Jagua de Ibirico, Drummond Ltd. will officially donate three important works and a review of the productive projects of 76 families in the community.
The ceremony will begin at 7:00 a.m. to donate a multipurpose court, a school cafeteria, and a healthcare station that will greatly benefit the development of the children and the entire community of Boquerón.
Alfredo Araujo, Manager of Drummond’s Community Relations Department, will preside over the ceremony along with staff from the Office of the Mayor of La Jagua de Ibirico.
In addition, Drummond Ltd. in association with the Mayor of La Jagua and Prodeco, has been working with 76 families in the community of Boqueron to develop productive projects, working with farm animals such as pigs and laying hens. Through training in animal health and husbandry, as well as marketing for entrepreneurs, the company has been supporting these economic activities, creating incentives for this type of business that can empower the region’s families.
Drummond Ltd. invites the entire community in La Jagua de Ibirico to actively participate in the inauguration of the works and get to know the business units leading them.
