In coordination with the municipal administration and the educational community, Drummond Ltd. delivered the construction project of two classrooms at the Eloy Quintero Educational Institution, María Auxiliadora headquarters, in the municipality of Bosconia, Cesar.
This initiative, aligned with the company’s commitment to sustainable development and strengthening access to education, aims to create safe environments and improve school settings to contribute to the permanence of boys and girls in the educational system.
“This is a fundamental work that reflects the synergy between the municipal mayor’s office and Drummond. We thank this company for the support it has provided to Bosconia with different initiatives. This will undoubtedly go down in the history of the municipality, as our children, young people, and future professionals will be formed here,” expressed Jorge Patiño Gómez, mayor of the municipality of Bosconia, Cesar.
The construction of these new classrooms responds to the needs identified by the educational community and local authorities, promoting suitable spaces for learning and strengthening school infrastructure for the benefit of students.
“We know that investing in educational infrastructure and school environments has a positive and direct impact on education. In addition, we are contributing to sustainable development, specifically to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal number 4: Quality education,” highlighted Yilda Tatiana Pineda, senior supervisor of community and government relations at Drummond Ltd.
