Drummond Ltd. invites you to participate in the dissemination of the Environmental Management Plan for its mining projects during 2024.

As part of its social and environmental commitments, Drummond Ltd. will share the results of the actions carried out during 2024 within the framework of the implementation of the Environmental Management Plan for its mining projects. The sessions will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the municipalities belonging to its area of influence in the Cesar department:

  • November 19 in Comfacesar, in Agustín Codazzi.
  • November 20 at the Angela Maria Torres Suarez Educational Institution, in Becerril.
  • November 21st at the Los Aperos de Miranda event hall in Chiriguaná.
  • November 26th in Comfacesar, in La Loma.
  • November 27 at the José Guillermo Castro Educational Institution, in La Jagua de Ibirico.

During these meetings, the results of the various programs that the company leads will be presented, covering biotic, abiotic, social, compensation aspects, among others.

“At Drummond Ltd., we demonstrate our environmental and social commitment through actions, which is why we work every year to prevent, mitigate, correct and compensate for the impacts generated by our mining operations. We invite all communities to participate in these spaces and to learn in a clear and timely manner about the results and progress of the execution and implementation of the Environmental Management Plan for 2024,” highlighted Mario García Collante, environmental management supervisor at Drummond Ltd.

In addition to highlighting everything related to its environmental commitment, the company will share progress on processes developed by areas such as Corporate Social Responsibility, Community Relations, Human Resources and Materials.

With these initiatives, Drummond Ltd. reaffirms its commitment to generating spaces of trust with communities and to complying with the obligations established in its environmental licenses.
