As part of its initiative to create protective environments for a peace-building generation, Drummond Ltd. delivered the third sports kit to the Unidos por la Paz Sports Club, in the La Loma district, El Paso municipality, Cesar.
“At Drummond Ltd. we continue to ratify our social commitment with projects that generate positive impacts in the area of influence, materializing the delivery of sports kits with the objective of encouraging the proper use of free time, the construction of values and promoting sports practice in children and young people,” said Alberto Tolosa Manjarrés, coordinator of community and government relations at Drummond Ltd.

The kits provided include sports uniforms, vests, balls, cleats, first aid kits, cones, plates, among others.
“On behalf of the community and the Unidos por la Paz Sports Club, I want to thank Drummond for having invested financially in these 436 athletes from the La Loma district,” said Kellys Pana, legal representative of the club.
Drummond recognizes that sports play an important role in the physiological and social development of children and young people, and with this donation, it promotes sports practice and motivates them to acquire healthy habits that contribute to their well- being and the strengthening of their skills.
“Today I want to highlight this great work. I feel very grateful and happy for the space that they provide for my children. I am at ease knowing that they are in good hands,” said Silfredo Bohórquez Manjarrés, a father of a beneficiary family.
Through this project, Drummond continues to reaffirm its commitment to the region, building social fabric and generating a positive impact on the children in its area of influence.
