As part of its commitment to strengthen the quality of education in its area of influence, Drummond Ltd. socialized three projects: the construction of a kiosk at the Octavio Mendoza Durán Educational Institution, Nueva Guayacán School, in El Paso, Cesar; the construction of two classrooms and improvement of educational infrastructure at the San Antonio Educational Center, La Conquista, and the improvement of infrastructure at the San Antonio Educational Center, in the Costa Rica area, in La Jagua de Ibirico, Cesar.
“We continue to strengthen institutional and community capabilities in the area of influence, with the development of projects that seek to improve and adapt school environments so that children and young people have access to quality education,” commented Alberto Tolosa, community and government relations coordinator for Drummond Ltd.
In addition to promoting a more dynamic and participatory school environment, these projects will benefit communities by providing opportunities for social development, social-emotional skills, equal access to quality educational opportunities, and ethical values that are fundamental to growth as individuals.
