This project, which involved an investment of more than 650 million pesos, included the construction of two classrooms, a kitchen-dining room, and bathroom facilities for the benefit of the student community.
“I want to thank God and Drummond for giving us the opportunity to have decent education and training,” said Fran Contreras, a student at the school.
To date, Drummond has intervened in 13 educational institutions in the rural area of the municipality of La Jagua de Ibirico, with which it continues to contribute to closing gaps and inequalities in educational infrastructure in its area of influence.
Jessica Ascanio Velásquez, mother of one of the students, expressed her gratitude to the company: “We are happy for this contribution made by Drummond, which benefits the educational spaces of our children, making the distance to the institution shorter”.
With these contributions, executed under the Integral Development pillar of its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, Drummond reaffirms its intention to continue strengthening institutional and community capacity in the education sector.
