Drummond Ltd. continues to demonstrate its commitment to the cultural sector. It has once again donated musical instruments and accessories to strengthen the Rafael Orozco Symphony Orchestra Center in Becerril, Cesar.
With this project, led by Professor Jose Salatiel, we have seen children and young people grow in the area of music. We will continue to work to strengthen culture in benefit of a good use of free time in the community of Becerril,” said Yilda Tatiana Pineda, Community Relations Coordinator at Drummond Ltd. in Cesar, during the delivery.
The musical instruments and accessories donated include two 3/4 basses, mouthpieces for clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, and trombones, a euphonium, a tuba, and reed cases for oboes, saxophones, and clarinets.
“Today, Drummond is confirming its faith in us to develop cultural activities in one of the municipalities in the mining corridor, Becerril. This is undeniably a great form of support that facilitates our activities,” expressed in gratitude Jose Salatiel, director of the Rafael Orozco Symphony Orchestra Center.
This new donation will benefit approximately 230 children and young people in Becerril The company has supported this project previously through the donation of presentation uniforms, instruments, and accessories for their maintenance.
Raul Machado, Mayor of Becerril, was also present at the delivery of the donations. He expressed his gratitude for this support for culture in his municipality.
In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, Drummond Ltd. has continued to support its communities, not only through contributions to the healthcare sector, but also through donations to the cultural and educational sectors.
