Drummond Ltd. strongly rejects what occurred today in the municipality of La Jagua de Ibirico, on the road leading to the village of Boquerón, where Jesús Eduardo Primo Palacio was murdered, and his son Kevin Primo was wounded. The company expresses its solidarity and condolences to the family.
The company condemns what happened and asks the appropriate authorities to investigate thoroughly and find those responsible for this heinous crime.
Drummond rejects any violent act, regardless of its origin, calls on everyone to stop the violence in the region and reiterates its support for the peaceful resolution of any conflict.
The company once again reiterates its willingness to collaborate with the authorities and other relevant parties to protect the lives and human rights of the members of the communities/groups of our area of influence.
