Drummond Ltd. reports that in the early morning of November 30, one of our employees was injured in a work accident at the El Descanso mine.
The Company’s emergency protocols were immediately activated and our medical and industrial safety personnel went to the scene of the accident to carry out the corresponding first aid procedures. Later, our employee was transferred to the city of Valledupar, where he is receiving medical care at a hospital, with the appropriate tests.
The causes of the accident are the subject of an investigation at this time. Based on its results, the pertinent corrections will be established and implemented.
