As part of the commemoration of Journalist’s Day in Colombia, Drummond Ltd., in conjunction with the Valledupar Journalists Circle – CPV, held the discussion “Impactful Narratives: what we are and what we do,” a space for dialogue aimed at strengthening the relationship with the media and promoting an open conversation on strategic issues for the region and the mining sector.
The meeting, which took place in Valledupar, allowed for discussion of the current state of mining and the company’s main management priorities, including education, environmental management, human rights, and energy transition. During the event, spokespeople from Drummond Ltd. shared the challenges facing the sector and the actions being taken by the organization, highlighting the importance of strengthening trust through transparent dialogue with stakeholders.
“We support these types of initiatives, which serve as a reference of knowledge for communicators, who replicate and channel this information so that it reaches the community firsthand. “That’s why we are always willing to support processes that contribute to shaping public opinion,” said Rafael Escalona Bolaño, president of the Valledupar Journalists’ Circle.
“Impactful narratives: who we are and what we do” allowed us to resolve concerns, exchange perspectives and reaffirm the company’s commitment to responsible communication, based on respect and timely access to information.
