As part of its commitment to social development, Drummond Ltd. delivered an important donation of musical instruments to the Alberto Mendoza Ríos Artistic and Cultural Training Center in the municipality of La Jagua de Ibirico, Cesar.

Aware of the need to promote and strengthen protective environments that encourage the good use of free time, the development of skills and the construction of values, the mining company, in agreement with the Mayor’s Office of La Jagua de Ibirico, led the execution of this project as part of its social responsibility strategy.
“The objective of this delivery is to provide the beneficiaries with tools that enhance their artistic training processes, strengthening their musical skills and personal and community values through the positive use of free time,” said Alberto Tolosa Manjarrés, community and government relations coordinator for Drummond Ltd.

The endowment, which will benefit 700 children and young people, includes a wide variety of instruments covering different areas of musical training such as accordions, vallenato boxes, guacharacas, guitars, bass guitars, piano keyboards, saxophone, oboe, clarinet, transverse flute, trumpet, trombone, saxhorn, Peruvian cajon, merenguera drum, folkloric drum sets, bell sets, tambourines, water stick and recorder.
“On behalf of the community of this municipality, our deepest gratitude to Drummond for its generous donation of musical instruments, which not only promotes the artistic education of our children and youth, but also strengthens the bonds that unite us as a society,” said William Mendoza, municipal coordinator of culture.

For his part, the mayor of La Jagua de Ibirico, Leonardo Hernández Cataño, highlighted the transforming impact of this initiative: “Thanks to Drummond for believing in the talent that emerges from our streets, in the dreams that are brewing in every corner of our municipality. With
