With the participation of leaders from different areas of Drummond Ltd., both in administrative, supervisory and operational roles, the Industrial Safety Summit 2025 was held, a day that placed the importance of living safety as an integral, daily and collective value at the center of the conversation.
Under the slogan “Conscious Safety every day, everywhere”, the purpose of this space was to reflect on how to continue building safer, more humane and sustainable work environments, through the analysis of experiences, the presentation of best practices and the integration of new approaches to strengthen preventive awareness in each area of the company, as well as how to reach the state of interdependence in 2026.
During the event, attendees enjoyed specialized presentations on industrial safety, including the concepts of dynamic risk, situational awareness and neuroscience applied to prevention. They also received information on attention in the execution of specific tasks, as well as in dynamics that explored how the emotional state, environment and personal energy influence the way in which each worker relates to risks and preventive measures.
Activities related to painting and photography allowed us to open spaces for introspection and emotional expression, highlighting the importance of balance between mind, body and environment to keep us alert and safe in our daily work.
Photography, in particular, was presented as a way of rediscovering work from a positive and appreciative point of view, promoting the enjoyment and appreciation of day-to-day operations. These artistic and sensory experiences served as catalysts to promote empathy, teamwork and mutual care, essential values in a strong safety culture.
“We completed our 2025 Safety Summit, based on conscious security. These types of spaces are intended to generate reflective conversations, but beyond that, constructive conversations,” said Luis Fernando Perez Jaramillo, director of industrial safety at the Department of Transportation.
With these events, the company continues to lead initiatives that reaffirm its responsibility with a safe, conscious and sustainable operation, where every action and decision is aimed at protecting the most important thing: its employees.
