Coal exports to Israel
Coal exports to Israel have been done in conformity with the authorization that the National Government gave. Drummond presented the required documentation to a committee comprised of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism; the National Mining Agency, and the National Tax and Customs Directorate (DIAN), as required bin Article 3 of Decree 1047 of 2024 issued by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism.
Judicial Decisions
About the recent accusations regarding the death of union-affiliated employees in 2001, Drummond once again categorically denies having or ever having had any relations with illegal groups.
There have been several rulings in the US that confirm this fact.
Recent decisions in a Federal Court in the US, based on clear evidence of payment to false witnesses in Colombia, including several paramilitaries and family members of theirs, were the justification to bring those responsible for those payments to justice. These and other pieces of evidence have been shared, over the past years, with the Colombian judicial authorities.
