Drummond Ltd. and the Mayor’s Office of El Paso announce the start of two projects to strengthen education

*The CDI Central will benefit from the construction and improvement of infrastructure.

With the objective of contributing to the social development of the region and transforming educational spaces into environments that favor student learning, Drummond Ltd., together with the Mayor’s Office of El Paso, Cesar, announced the initiation of two projects to benefit the El Paso Nationalized Educational Institution, main campus, and the Lluvias de Amor Child Development Center, central campus.

“These projects not only represent an improvement in the municipality’s educational infrastructure, but also reaffirm our commitment to the integral development of children and young people. Through these efforts, we seek to provide safe, adequate and stimulating spaces that promote their well-being and integral development,” said Javier Galeano, community relations coordinator for Drummond Ltd.

Among the projects, the construction of an auditorium for the El Paso Nationalized Educational Institution, main campus. This space will be designed to be functional, modern and versatile, allowing for academic, cultural, artistic and integration activities. In this way, the goal is to encourage the active participation of students, teachers and members of the educational community in the municipality of El Paso.

The intervention at the Lluvias de Amor Child Development Center, central campus, will involve the construction and improvement of its infrastructure for the benefit of 200 children.

“We are very pleased with this partnership between Drummond, the municipal administration and the community. The construction of this auditorium and the improvement of the CDI’s infrastructure will allow us to offer a higher quality education and improve learning spaces for our children and youth,” said El Paso Mayor Jes煤s Ortiz.

With this initiative, Drummond reinforces its contribution to the Sustainable Development Goal, “Quality Education”, by promoting an educational environment that fosters the growth and development of students.

“I am here today on behalf of all the CDI parents in the municipality of El Paso. I am grateful to Drummond for carrying out this magnificent project and to our mayor for taking into account that the main CDI will be located here, in the municipality of El Paso,” said Danis Mejia Morales, a mother who benefited from the project.
