Attendees to the socialization of the second phase of ‘Proyéctate+’ in Ciénaga.

The second phase of “Proyéctate+”, an initiative under the Drummond Social Investment Plan, continues, focusing on enhancing the capacities of local community productive associations. On this occasion, the municipality of Ciénaga joined the call with a socialization that marks the beginning of a new stage for the development and strengthening of various productive economic sectors of the Magdalena community.

In this way, “Proyéctate +” will provide participants with specialized technical advice to train and accompany the productive associations that are linked to the project, through an inclusive and collaborative approach that facilitates the definition of strategies and goals, as well as the formulation and management of high-impact projects that contribute to the diversification and sustainable development of the region.

“Today we accompanied Drummond and INUBAC, for the socialization of the Project yourself program, it is important that the Ciénaga community join this program to strengthen our productive systems,” said Wilmer Pérez Ramírez, administrative technician of the Office of Environment and Agricultural Development of the Mayor of Ciénaga.

The second phase of “Proyéctate+” encompasses three levels of intervention, each designed to ensure a gradual and complete development of the capacities of each participating organization: the core level offers training to associations with no previous experience in project formulation, focused on devising and developing strategic initiatives. The intermediate level combines group training with individual mentoring to strengthen existing capacities and guide participants in defining and structuring projects with potential for impact. Finally, the advanced level provides continuous and targeted support to partnerships that already have formulated project initiatives.

“I feel happy. We are pleased that this company reaches out to the communities to help each of the associations to generate a project, thanks to Drummond,” said Claudia Cervantes Thomas, legal representative of FEDEMARC and APROCOPES.

With Proyéctate+, Drummond continues to contribute to the growth and development of its neighboring communities by fostering sustainable opportunities and alternatives in the region.
