Starting February 20, Drummond Ltd. will be holding informative sessions on the Environmental Management Plan that was executed during 2023 for its mining projects, in municipalities within its area of influence in Cesar.
The workshops will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 m. on the following dates and locations:
- February 20 at Comfacesar, in Agustin Codazz
- On February 22 at the Angela Maria Torres Suarez Educational Institution in Becerril.
- On February 27 at the José Guillermo Castro Educational Institution in La Jagua de Ibirico.
- February 28 at Comfacesar, in La Loma.
- February 29 at the Olympic Village in Chiriguana.
These meetings will highlight the results obtained in the different programs led by the company; for biotic, abiotic, social, and compensation components, among others.
“Through these spaces we exhibit the results of the activities carried out in advance of the execution and implementation of the Environmental Management Plan (EMP), fulfilling our commitments to the environment and the communities in the company’s areas of influence, in addition to the objectives achieved in environmental and social matters during the year 2023,” explained Laura Aldana Martinez, environmental analyst at Drummond Ltd.
In addition to the Environmental Department, areas such as Corporate Social Responsibility, Community Relations, Human Resources, Materials, and Compensation will also be socializing their results.
With these spaces, Drummond will continue to ratify its commitment to create spaces of trust with its communities, in addition to complying with the obligations established in the framework of its environmental licenses.
