EDITORIAL

“Since our first exported ton in 1995, I have been asked about the legacy that we at Drummond have left behind that benefits the communities in our areas of influence in Cesar and Magdalena. That is why we decided to produce this special edition of Drummond Magazine, in which we describe and highlight the programs and projects related to education, with which we positively impact the communities neighboring our operations.” José Miguel Linares, President of Drummond Ltd.

IN OUR OPERATION

In order to promote local economic growth and community participation, Drummond Ltd. offers two training programs for operational and professional personnel who want to take on new challenges and achieve dreams with the Company: Professionals in Training program and the In-House Training Program.

HUMAN RESOURCES

In the last 15 years, Drummond Ltd. Colombia has invested nearly COP177 billion in educational aid and scholarships for employees and their families to improve their quality of life through education. It is a differentiating approach to accompany the human and professional development of the Company’s employees.

CURRENT EVENTS

The university scholarships are an initiative that, since 2006, has transformed the lives of 227 young people from Cesar and Magdalena, with access to higher education, living expenses and psychosocial support.
