One of our union organizations has informed us by email that some of their leaders have received threats against their lives via their cell phones. We have also been informed that the individuals threatened are in the process of informing the appropriate authorities so that they can take the actions necessary.
The Company would like to express its absolute rejection of all threats, acts of violence, or actions that threaten the integrity of any person or violate any of their basic rights.
We also strongly urge the authorities to investigate the above allegations and take all measures necessary, including the prosecution of those responsible.
We would like to remind the public that we are a company that has always respected freedom of association, as evidenced by the fact that 62% of our employees belong to one of the 11 unions that operate within our company.
